DRB in NM's recent activity

  • Very dramatic and foreboding. Was this near Vienna? My family and I went through southern Germany, Salzburg and Vienna this time of year four years ago and the weather was like this the entire ...
  • All of them are very nice, though the clouds in the last one really drew my eye.
  • Thanks Andrew. I picked up an E-PM2 two lens kit a while back and this was the first time I really made a concentrated effort to use it. I also just picked up a VF-3, which has made a world of ...
  • Very nice. Think I may like the second the most. Love the color.
  • A few from the sunrise yesterday. Taken from a mesa SW of Cuba, NM. As the sun was rising. I need to work on this one some more to try to lessen the noise in the background. Looking back down the ...

    Wow! Very dramatic.
  • A couple things that are curious to me are; (1) The Olympus SSWF sensor cleaning system is VERY effective at keeping the lens clean. I live in New Mexico (which is fairly dusty) and I've NEVER had an ...
  • I picked up an Oly E-PM2 two lens kit for $300 and am impressed with its capability (especially for the price). I had been taking my E-520 or E-1 with a couple lenses on backpacking trips, but the ...

  • It does sound like the lens is dead. I've heard that using an eraser on the contacts will take off oxidation/corrosion. It sounds like you're totally missing a ground or voltage supply.
  • I really like the last two, especially the one in Soda Dam. I've lived in NM all my life, and I don't know how may times I've passed Soda Dam and have never gone up inside it.
  • Don't think I've posted this one. Grand Canyon from last summer. Taken with 14-54 MKI More of a skyscape rather than a landscape. Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. I really bumped up the saturation on ...

  • Very nice!
  • Don't know if I like one more than the other. The new version reminds me of some of the photos I've seen of Russia very early 20th century.

My initial reaction is that I like the first one most, I think because I can see the chains leading somewhere.
  • I was browsing through ebay and saw this "new out-of-box E-PM2 two lens kit" with only one bid on it. It was a very good price and only had a couple more hours on it, so I figured, "what the heck" ...
