is this done with the wide angle attachment..nice pic btw
digitalanalog: If Nikon and Canon won't start to make retro-designed cameras ...
In terms of build quality what Nikon and Canon have offered so far in their mirrorless cameras is laughable in comparison to the X series.
citrontokyo: The only way to make this interesting is to say that people must vote for a camera that they don't have (preferably a different maker, too). Otherwise, it's just another boring popularity contest.
I shoot Pentax, but vote for the Sony Rx1. It's true camera porn for me.
Ya thought it would become a Canon V Nikon contest but Olympus is upsetting the party too. Rx1 from me too
Related to the subject at hand. The images look wonderful. I just have gotten so used to the Evf/Ovf on the X100 I really think the X-Pro 1 is more attractive, perhaps slightly larger but a necessity all the same for me.
I just not have used it at all. Im sure it has potential but i just feel google was a little late on the scene and people got comfortable with FB if you into all that.
Great list DPR keep up the excellent work....wow this thread is just pure comedy.
Well I'm impressed.
maxnimo: I'm confused by all the "ugly" comments. Is this camera supposed to be framed and hung on a gallery wall next to Mona Lisa?
Agreed. For me it looks balanced and hefty. Unlike the NEX series. I think most lenses will feel at home on this body. Very tempting indeed .
bookmarked and keeping an eye with a view to latching on.
Will take some getting used to. Looks clean and fresh at first glance. But for some reason seams less 'inviting'..
oozing with Coolness. Together with a quality build. really a must have !
Reilly Diefenbach: Here's what I need to know:I saved $3000 not having a smart phone for the last three years which allowed me to buy a D800e.
Im going to use that one on the wife !! :) but for the 5dIII :P
its that time of year when I need to re-mortgage the house.
hope it feels better than the Nikon offering..felt like it would fall apart in my hands. Looks lovely though. Need to see this in relation to the X-Pro 1 to accompany my X100..am I moving away from Canon? will see.
Great quality visually and the sound is good perhaps a little muffled. The vocals cant be heard well at all. For a phone its very good imo
makeitworst: The Plastic Fantastic Canon Rebel Series ..... they FEEL and LOOK like you should buy them at Toys-R-Us. The Nikon camera's in this range may not be any better in image quality, but at least they are Made Better, Feel Better, Look Better and last longer. I've known too many student photogs that complain about the short life-span of the "budget" Canons.
They're over-priced for what you get, too. Sorry, Ashton Krutcher commercials do not justify a +20% price tag. Just a Gag.
