I will post some images in a week or so. I am travelling in Belgium and Holland now with the F900 and G15. No way to post images ( I only have a Kindle reader with me.) So far I'm happy with the...

Very nice. I got some nice snaps at Dam square and the boat parade with the F900. We had front row views of the water from our river cruise ship.

Yes. GPS is a battery hog, but I have no way to use the WiFl either. - Wish the F900exr had in-camera HDR.- Sweep panorama works well.

Quick first impressions after 3 days of shooting in all types of light. - AF is very good.- IQ seems fine. I have no laptop to view large images though.- I wish it had a couple of custom settings...

Enjoy your new F900. I've had mine for a few days now and am getting familiar with it before I leave tomorrow on a two week trip to Belgium and Holland. I'm mostly using Kim L's recommended...

Dave Etchell's of Imaging Resource has a pretty good preview video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHLDn7jN2jU

I'm not a big fan of Lightroom - basically I'm too cheap. ACDSee Pro and Helicon Filter 5.2 do all I need - posting images on the web. But, I'm always willing to look into new version of software,...

Kim,
Do you recommend the -1/3ev -2/3ev when shooting with DR400 and M size?

The raw files are huge. I'm not happy to see that slooooowww old Silkypix is the raw converter. I'll stick with Helicon Filter 5.2 until support from ACDSee Pro becomes available.

Gingertwist: Did you solve the battery drain issue?
My F900EXR arrived a few hours ago. My initial impressions are quite good. I've set it up for my style of shooting, but I'm not prepared to post...

My F900 hasn't arrived yet (maybe Monday), but could the wireless networking or geotagging be turned on and draining the battery? See pages 58-60 in the .pdf manual. I'm not sure of the settings as...

I just ordered the F900EXR and have your "How to Shoot and EXR Camera" page bookmarked for further study in preparation for a trip to Europe with the F900 in 10 days. :-P

I couldn't resist the F900. Ordered it yesterday. Will report on my impressions in the future.
Don't have a smart phone. Wish it had GPS.
Good to know all this.

According to the spec. sheets on the Fujifilm site, the F900EXR has the newer EXR CMOS II sensor, while the F850EXR has the EXR CMOS sensor.
The other big difference is the faster AF on the...

Not being into WiFi and raw for a P&S I may go for the F850. Not a lot vendors seem to have it yet, probably because the F900EXR gains an extra $100. for them. 9 fps is plenty fast for me. As...

Hi Bill,
Image quality is the most important criteria for me and the AF looks very good. I don't care about WiFi and don't own a smart phone thingy. :)
It seems strange that the F900EXR offers AE...

I'm curious about this camera. Anyone know where I can download the F900EXR manual? It doesn't seem to be available on the Fujifilm USA site. Thanks.

Many of us respect Graham Houghton's diligent work in reviewing the FZ and TZ cameras. He is not impressed with the latest model - TZ40. See this...

Graham Houghton has posted follow-up comments on the image quality of the ZS30/TZ40 on this same page. His comments are not encouraging.
