Finally a sample gallery that looks like a photographer is behind it and not just some random snapshots. Great job!

How depressing.

Niklas Ramstedt: I'd actually consider this one. My Dell Precision M4700 is starting to get a bit heavy.

Technically yes - data adds weight, but only on an atomic level.

Niklas Ramstedt: Better go home and try this with a bed sheet as he suggested. Must try to pick one without stains...

Yeah... One shouldn't drink beer and eat chocolate in bed.

In reply to:

tkbslc: Powerful images for sure. I just wonder why award winners always seem to be about human suffering and violence.

The bombing victim one started with suffering and ended with overcoming it. That sends a pretty strong message that anyone can take wisdom from.

Why do we fall sir? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.

I think I'll swap my Sigma 85 1.4 for this one.

Nicely done. I know how bloody hard it is to get these suckers into focus. Summer after summer I try to capture some when the kids blow bubbles.

That was a really great set. Interesting how someone's family photos can speak and captivate you. I love the last one.

SDF: Are we still going to get an A7R review or this is it?

Just seems odd that every other pro Nikon body has a review on this site but the D4.

When it comes to the Nikon D4 review it means exactly what we think it means. ;)

Niklas Ramstedt: I really don't get all this A7 chanting here. This is aimed at Nikon shooters that probably have a lot of Nikon glass from before - like me. Even if another camera maker would make a magical unicorn camera that produces noise free images in pitch black churches it would still be an idiotic and expensive move to sell all my current gear only to have to buy everything new.

Will I still get that superb autofocus my D700 and 70-200 combo has if I slap it on an A7 with an adapter? Will the focal lenght stay the same? Will I be able to use my SB-800 remotely still supporting NCLS? The A7 is not aimed at all shooters, not for professionals. I don't think we'll see many sony cameras among the Canons and Nikons during the winter olympics next year.
