the repair dept in Mississauga is very talented, and reliable.......just voice your concerns, and they will help u. they always have for meas for ditching nikon, the alternatives are not any...

i can only say the nicest things about nikon service in montreal and toronto......very nice and knowledgeable staff......i left canon because of their lack customer service.

please look at the af sensor in the d3...it is ccd..(3 led looking bulbs), then check out the new cameras they are cmos....flati was not referring to the image sensorthey are different sensors all...

it is absurd to adjust your camera, and technique, when nikon should deliver what they were advertising.... "a new and superior af system that focuses in extreme low light......" for a price tag...

i can testify to have the same issue on my d4......i have been saying this from day 1 to my nps rep, and nikon technical advisor...this seems to be a result of the cmos af sensor and not the ccd...

i own a couple d3, and what seems to be happening to you is nothing drastic....u might just have dust in the af chamber......ask them to clean your sensors...the d3 is a beautiful machineit happens...

usually insurance do not cover anything on water....it is clear in the policy

sanyo enelops or maha imedion's are essential...they changed my life...i used to have lots of maha powerex at a job....now, i need less AA enelops because they perform much better
