  • I have been using Premium Satin Canvas 13"x19" shown here http://www.atlex.com/premium-satin-canvas-13-x19-20-sheets.html but it has been discontinued.  It was a great price at $1.75 sheet & I ...
  • Ok great!  Thanks for this info.
  • Created discussions Matte or Satin Canvas
I have tried lots of different matte canvas (Fredrix, Hahnemuhle, & every type of Breathing Color canvas except the metallic).  I just tried a satin canvas from a different company & I actually ...
  • Created discussions Color laser printer
Does anyone have experience & can recommend a high quality color laser printer that handles graphics well?  It doesn't necessarily have to print great photos, but I am trying to print some clipart ...
  • Is there a reason why people don't like backing board?  I've been ordering canvas gallery wraps from CG Pro Prints & all of the canvases have some type of backing board.  So far everyone has liked ...
  • I've talked to Breathing Color & they mentioned using Tyvek.  I've never used Tyvek but it looks like it might be a thick paper.  Does anyone use this?  I'm also wondering if backing board would ...
  • I haven't.. didn't know they would help with something like this.  I was hoping someone in the forums could help or let me know of a tutorial they use.
  • I've printed on cards using the sheet feeder as well with no problems.  Do you know how to print borderless on the front of a card?  I was using 4.5"x5" cards & could not get it to print to the edges.
  • I do not currently.. should I be?  I thought 17x22 was the size typically preferred, but I may be wrong.  I'm still new at this
  • I have been using a self healing mat, steel ruler, & rotary cutter but yesterday the blade got ahold of my finger.  I've gotten cuts from it before, but this time it took off a corner of my finger ...
  • I'm looking at making canvas gallery wraps from Breathing Color Easy Wrappe system.  Does anyone know a good tutorial for making the back of the canvas look more finished like the pictures below?  ...
  • Created discussions Shipping prints flat
I think I've been convinced from a previous thread to ship flat rather than in a tube.  I ship prints up to 17"x22" and currently make cardboard boxes for each print.  I need something that's ...
  • I would like to switch to shipping tubes instead of shipping flat prints.. what papers would roll well & still have a similar texture to canvas?
  • Thanks, I'll look into these papers.. any you suggest?
  • Just to add more texture to the print.. I love the look of canvas & you can still see the texture when framed.
  • I looked at their website and can't find an item with that number.. do you mean the 4" heavy duty tubes for $4.94 each?  That seems high to me considering the ones I'm looking at are around $1.50 each
  • Ok thanks!  Do you think an xacto knife would cut the tubes?  We don't have a saw or anything.. but I've been using an xacto to cut my own boxes.
  • Thanks for the tips!  I would be shipping mostly 11"x14" prints with a 1" border (13"x16") but sometimes 16"x20" prints with a .5" border (17"x21") so I think this size would work.  I know it ...
  • Created discussions Shipping tubes that don't bend
I'm looking at buying shipping tubes & have an order ready to place for 3" x 19" and they are .06 thickness. Is this thick enough to not bend when shipping? I have never used tubes in the past so ...
