gl2k: Absolutely no reason to upgrade from 4 to 5. Distortion control is nice but not enough.

I made 2 test albums that had the same images and opened them in 4 and 5. The way it handles previews is vastly superior and is much faster. I'm looking forward to working with the smart previews.

The speed alone is worth it, I did a test side by side, LR5 is full five fold faster for me. Add that up over 3000 wedding images, and you have already paid for it.

DuckShots: Did they fix the tethered shootin?

Yes

I can also confirm that tethering works great with my D800

LR 4.2 does in fact now support the D600 Raw files, even though its not listed above. Perhaps Its not full support (profiles etc.), but they import and edit beautifully.

Pretty impressive files on all fronts.

I can confirm (D800), did a shoot this morning with the new firmware, no more occasional HUGE delays waiting for the monitor come back up, or having to power cycle.

Things are moving right along, thanks Nikon.

Mistakes happen, own it, fix it, and were good.

I make my living with Nikon's, so yes, thank you Nikon for doing right by me through the years.

Maybe I'm crazy, but 4.1 feels faster, anyone else agree?

Its 25,600 when you get up in the H1-2's (uncalibrated) it doesn't show it anymore, had to dig in the info in Photoshop to see it.
