Also as an owner of a D600 what focus settings do you tend to use for action shots, considering the small autofocus area. In general what is your technique for tracking objects.

Where was #10; beautiful composition, shooting and whatever postpro. I moved in January to a D600 from D300, very pleased at increase in iq capability and greater flexibilty.

As a generally positive D600 owner, the snapshooter is also not going to be pleased with the smaller focus area.

Correct -  depending on current and desired skill level - and price concern.

As an owner of a D600 (after upgrading now three times in 4 years from a D90, then D300 to this affordable fx model) this body produces amazing iq. Not to pick a fight with the folks that report...
