Did you try with the 32-bit version?
The installer is testing for the local OS version and if OS is WinXP, it just quits...
Or did you find a workaround?
Capture NX 2 also got an update to 2.4.7.
In the notes for both it says support for XP has been dropped so if you are still running that OS, don't update.

A rusty rudder hinge from an old ship, sunk in WWII. Recovered by wreck divers while clearing rubbish from a sea-lane:

As for improvement, there is a lot more that could have been done with the lighting, a reflector to soften the shadows or set up some lights to get some softer lighting.
