Indeed, "one to beam up", or down :-)
Thanks for sharing these enormous crowds... ;-)
-
Yeah! ;-)
You are absolutely right.
Every year thousands of images are taken of the flowering tulips in spring. I just tried to do it different. Another perspective, another kind of DOF, another...

About a week ago, I took my D800E and the old faithful 135mm DC f/2 lens to explore the fields with flowering tulips:
And finally, after harvesting, they forget this lonely fellow :-)
What...

First of all, like many others noted before, as long as it's an US only shop, there is nothing in it for me. :-(
But just a simple price example from this fresh gearshop.
Rokinon/Samyang 24mm T/S...
-
Yes, :-( it's horrible those huge increases in the price when trying to import some gear from a non-EU country.
Here in The Netherlands you pay 21% VAT PLUS importduties.
E.g. importduties for...

IrfanView (free) is just a great tool for resizing, changing compression, sharpening, batch jobs, etc, etc.
-
Thanks for showing! :-)
Looks wonderful, especially with the looming storm. Maybe if you waited a little longer, you could have seen the showers pouring down? ;-)

... the colors of tulip bulbs:
-
Indeed, the blueish grained sky is probably caused by the resizing. I have seen this before when downsizing JPG images.
What's that yellow smiley on the ground? It almost looks like a helicopter...
-
...red tulips.
Shot today. Very bright clear sky, lots of sunshine. These red tulips almost glowed.
And when they are finally harvested, sometimes a single flower is left alone :-(
...all alone...
-
Strange, but weird. :-)
I like them, especially #2 and #3.
Like Hamada-San said: #3 is special kind of image... But WHAT is it?
-
But? Did you succeed?

Last one with this lens.
I turned the Arsat T/S lens entirely back into the 'straight' position, so it acted like a 'normal' 80mm MF lens.
15 handheld shots. Stitched with PTGui Pro.
Not bad for...
-
Nice! But I would love to see more!
More on the right, more on the left, more on the foreground. ;-)
So please, please, make some more images (e.g. a wider sweep) the next time...
-
I love this 'complicated' image! I can't stop looking for details. Like a Prius in traffic, snow capped mountains in the background, the rusty parts of some boats, the partially wrapped boat in...
-
I live nearby, just 10 minutes away on bike. ;-)
This is the website from this show:
http://www.bataviahavenbotenshow.nl/home.html (sorry, only in Dutch)
It's in fact a sale/resale show for boat...

I tried PS CS6 for stitching. :-(
But it took forever...almost 3 times as long as PTGui did for stitching the same source files.
And I can't experiment with the projection methods as easy as I can...

The stern of the big ship:

From the special effects department. ;-)
