  • Well done with hosting the challenge . I think you made an excellent decision on choosing VittoDigital's " Grass, everywhere!" as the overall winner, it was a strong contender from the outset IMO. ...
  • A very nice collection of images from Rome. Not always easy to do justice to that lovely old city. My favourite image is #2 with the reflection of the Colloseum in cobble stone puddle of water. I ...
  • Great comment, as per usual. :-) Was hoping to see an image in the challenge from  you as you usually contribute very well. Will look forward to your good work in the next challenge . To catch the ...
  • Commented on freya in the VSCO FILM 00 challenge

Lovely atmospheric image of a lovely model.
The light is wonderful and the very shallow depth of field works well.I love how her hand fades off at the wall.
I'm assuming this is natural light...

  • Good composition here Ken and good thinking. I like where you've gone here. Best Regards.

Again, a very interesting character portrait. He  holds our attention and, as before, I envy your great circle of (interesting) friends. Excuse my jealousy and well done. - To catch the world in images
  • Agreed, the little guy looks uncomfortable.
  • You have posted some very nice B&W images and I believe you will receive a good reception here. The are many talented yet (thankfully) modest photographers here like Corona who will give you a ...
  • Replied in no title
I like the lighting in this image and how the hand of the left  dummy (or mannequin) holds the upper thigh area of the other. As said, there is a definite sensuality to the image. Did you  happen ...
  • Great capture of the Arrows, Ian. Your "decisive moment" looks spot on here.  :-)

Clever observation on your behalf ,Scott. Very well seen and abstracted . Refreshing to see someone having this lateral type vision. Well done.
  • To me, this is quite a decent collection. I somehow feel number 4 in particular, had huge graphic potential if there was a tighter crop (you may think I'm being too fussy here). Overall though, this ...
  • Replied in Waiting?
Meant to comment on this image yesterday, I think it works reasonably well. Opposite the guy (who looks like he's on a mobile phone and holding a paper bag)) is a graphic aspect to the composition: ...
  • As said by Steve, I also see a few things occuring in the driftwood: a pig's head biting on something (a  poisoned apple maybe),a human arm emanating from the pig's neck powerfulliy pulling deep ...
  • I think this is a great image, the detail and tonality around the Matterhorn is well captured! Love the play of light too. How did you achieve such a good image with a useless old camera like the ...
  • I'm sure they were well earned and the imbibing was for medicinal purposes only. ;-) Sligo and Mayo and their surrondings have been happy hunting grounds photographically for me over the years.
  • Yes, I was thinking afterwards today it could be one of those streets off Grafton Street of which Duke Street is one. Hope you enjoyed your time in the Fair City.
  • Interesting contrast of lifestyles. I always feel street photography is a difficult medium to master. I live in Dublin and am thinking of a few streets it resembles. Can you recall the name of this ...
  • Nice image but I think if you'd got much closer you'd have gotten a stronger, graphic image. I clicked on the image to view it full size and then clicked on the 100% button and I found the jetty ...
  • Replied in Wavy Grass
Found a few free hours today to head out and recall what it's like to use my camera(s). :) This was taken in a field about 10minutes (by car) from my house. The field is nothing to look at in the ...
