About me:

Retired after 42 year career in the newspaper industry. My first 5
years I was a
photoengraver and I enjoyed the last 37 years as a news
photographer, a career I
wouldn't have changed for anything, well maybe lots of money.
LOL. Seriously, it was a
great career, seeing and doing a lot of things most people never
have the opportunity to
experience, the best analogy I can use is 'I always had a front row
seat--to everything'

Way too slow. Why not at least a 2.8 - 4.0, I would rather pay more and have a faster lens.

Despite all the negative statements and I mentioned that I have an issue with focusing, not serious though, I really am enjoying this camera and I'm not going to smash it, blow it up, return it or stop using it. This camera has many great features and once you figure them all out, it's not rocket science folks, this camera is a joy to own. I'm not an employee of Fuji nor do I work in a camera store selling them, this is just an unsolicited opinion. There must be others out there that are happy with the X10, don't be shy!

I am having focusing issues as well, this camera doesn't focus as good as my Canon S90. For the most part it is great but not as good as the Canon. Anyone else with a focusing problems?
