yip I agree Bassy, SOOC jpegs but thats just my opinion based partly on the fact that I'm useless with PP whereas others who are competent at PP may feel different.

I have a 26 inch hidef monitor and don't see the artefacts...that's all, so I don't buy the 'selective' NR argument u and joms are pushing...

As much as I'd love there to be an XS-2 I don't think it'll happen soon (hopefully I'm wrong), the XS-1 was very expensive to produce and I read somewhere that because of the very low sales volumes...

shoot in good light... ;) due to the smaller sensor compared to DSLR's you will always get noise in lower light (higher iso) that being said the XS1 has better low light abilities than other...
