The real question about the Canon S series of cameras is is their a design flaw in these cameras that has theses recurring lens problems across the entire S series that Canon has not addressed...

All understood...however  dxomark is clearly not comparing only RAW as it tests many cameras that do not have a RAW  output option at all so the comment that they are comparing camera's RAW output...

Based upon what conclusive evidence can you make that definitive statement?

Since Dxomark tests a number of cameras that use the same sensor and they come out with different scores how can we say they test the sensor independent of the lens and the jpeg engine?

Hi Ben... Comparing the price of the Canon S110 to the price of the P330, the P330 is very fairly  priced . Of course the Canon has been available for awhile so its street price has come down a...

I think this excellent test may be helpful to those who are debating between the  SX 50 and FZ 200.

You might want to look at www.dxomark.com  and compare these cameras and their  image quality scores   as well as read the full tests of these cameras on that website. dxomark has a tool that...

And that is so very important... Avoid confusion...Careful Labeling...No doubt what it is ..or is not ...or might be.. or should be...or should not be :)

When more reasonably priced cameras outperform more expensive cameras in dxomark tests (they provide an easy way to compare scores between cameras) it must upset some of those very same  company...

Ignoring dxomark for a moment....we find the same kind of praise of the IQ of  the P330 by the OP as well as other reviews of the P330.  In this case dxomark does not stand alone praising this camera.
