On break through in the Airplanes in Flight challenge (10 comments in total)

This image is a beautiful work of art, but it it just does not look real to me. As a former pilot I know
1) those white topped clouds are sunlight bright. There is no way the nose light cone would be visible in that environment.
2) the bank angle is very "non-standard"-- way too steep for IFR conditions. Looks more like an out of control situation.

3) The camera plane would seem to be in a very bad position--there is a lot of mid-air collision potential in that setup.

Yes, a stunning picture, but the photoshop work is just too unbelievable for me.
