As some has mentioned before it is Pentax k01 like which dpr didn't like it.
Pentax would you please give the market your k02 with VF. The market mood is ready now to receive it with hail.

Congratulations
Indeed a game changer to Hasselblad.

Class A: Suggestion to DPReview:

Perhaps mention that the K-1 has five-axis image stabilsation (as you do with the Sony) and don't claim that sensor-based stabilisation is used for video (because it isn't).

Wouldn't it also be interesting for readers to learn that the K-1 has an on-demand Bayer-AA filter (-simulator)? A unique feature that seems worth mentioning.

Some may also find the Astrotracer functionality really interesting? I appreciate you couldn't test it yet, but still worth mentioning, right?

Personally, I think the extensive weather-sealing is more worthy of being mentioned in the top "What we like" list than the external illumination, the latter being more in the "nice to have, but not essential" category like the unmentioned third wheel.

Well said but do you think that they will listen. I doubt because they insist on spread negatives and hide the positives.

LightBug: According to image-resource, image quality of 24 MP sensor with pixel shift could match some 36 MP FF.

and 36mp ff could match MF with pixel shift!!

D135ima: Design like K-S 2.
I used to think that the Pentax want to separate these series, But the design of this camera strongly reminiscent K-S 2 . So, no more K-S series ?

It is mixed between k30 and ks2.
I like what Pentax doing.

thanks so much dpr for the update.
but i wonder why the insist on pixel shift is for land scape work.
pixel shift is for landscap work and still life work, studio work, insects, flowers etc.
again thanks for the valued effort.

Looking forward to the rewritten article.
Looking forward to seeing a change in your looking to Pentax in general.
This camera has many unique features combined with a powerful body that makes it a unique camera and has no similar. OK it is not flawless but it is the nearest camera to perfect.
