Agree that lens is unchanged, it is still a good lens, even though lagging competition on the long end ... but less of an issue for me.The 41% increase in AF is certainly worth me waiting for.

Actually to me it does seem I am getting more for what I will use camera for (Scuba) .... faster AF & significantly improved low light capability. I appreciate though that this may not be same for...

"DIGIC processor now takes a step up to Digic 6,..." -That's just more JPEG noise removal.Canon say it's what gives the 41% faster AF and increased lowlight performance.

I have usede 2 x Fuji   own brand housing, 1 x Canon and 1 x Olympus   Never had a flood, never had a problem ........... I'll admit I only dive to 40m, but Polycarbonate housings seems absolutrly...

Disagree ... while using strobe(s)   will get you better shots I have taken hundreds of pics at depths down to 40m without strobes. OK you get the dreaded CYAN cast ... but Photoshop can help a lot...
