FWIW, a friend has several Balcar strobes and I tried his curved (bowl-shaped) 7" reflectors on my Einstein lights since they are a direct fit. The output using the curved Balcar reflectors was...

Terry White seems to address only the softball questions at his site.

You mean as opposed to renting it?????

I bought this one for $5.50 for my D800 and laptop and it works perfectly with a USB 3 extension...

Here is what Canada's competition laws say: Tied-selling exists when a supplier, as a condition of supplying a particular product, requires or induces a customer to buy a second product.

Agree 100% that the cheap ones from eBay will last you a long time. I have a 7 year old one I use 1-2 times per month and it still works and folds fine.
One thing you might find is the black side...

Your experience reminds me of a presentation a member of our camera club did last year. It was entitled "Why I like my images better than you do." Pretty much sums up a lot of photography.

EXACTLY! Why is it so hard to understand that you want to get as much light on the sensor as possible without blowing out the highlights? ETTR is the only thing that makes sense from a...

RRS just came out with an Arca Swiss clamp with space for a strap to thread through. Looks very secure but still clamps to an L-bracket which is attached to the tripod socket so it might not...

Perhaps,, but I think the whole issue is these batteries seem to be moving to the 4 (discard) setting faster than anyone else has experienced with a Nikon camera battery.

FWIW, I spent a long time trying to calculate and record the nodal point for my lenses and finally just guessed at it (pick the middle of the lens) and took the shots. For distant landscapes...

Meant to clarify that I purchased the Fotodiox grid and found it to be substandard. The Photoflex one is of much higher quality.

I got the grid for my Photoflex 24x32 and it was very poorly made plastic webbing type material and already coming apart. I returned it to Amazon.
This is an excellent bundle as either the softbox...

Could be a bit of oil. I get it from time to time on my D800 but a wet cleaning or LensPen's Sensor Klear should get it off completely. I've used the Sensor Klear with a D2x, D700, and now the...

I wonder if it will be subscription only. Adobe is not making near enough money of fit at $99 to keep them happy. Prepare for the worst with Adobe.

Glad to hear they helped you. They told me there was no warranty as the marker moved to #3 after 3 months. Now the replacement I purchased is already at #2 with only about 3,000 shots on it.
