I got the Kipon TS adapter for $300, and it seems well made and produce good result. It surely added lots of fun in playing with old lenses. Recommended.

Those are great shots, very pleasant to look

I often got error that force me to turn off the camera then turn it back on. I haven't find out the pattern that may cause the error. Do you experience the same? Really looking forward to the...

Using zoom lens, the OVF is not practical at all. When you count OVF out, there is really no reason to get pricier, heavier Pro1

I tried later again and the result met my expectation. It seems my earlier AF mode was not correctly set.

Thanks for the input! It seems that "function" works. Why did Fuji never think of a default "slow" start mode is beyond me. But let's see how reliable it is.
Again, appreciate your help!

Just came back from my first trip with the X-E1. In general, the little camera did well. The lens is definitely the bright side. The body has some issues. One that I wish they can improve is the...

It definitely improve the handling. The RRS one provides camera plate on top of the grip, so, it is a better value for me.

That place is a dream for photographers. It is a complete light show setup. You should consider yourself lucky for this shot. The light is not always that good. But occasionally, it can be even...

Mine produces pictures just like your. I will give it another try, and it may go back to Amazon.

Your picture looks so much sharper and clear than mine (on a D700). Did you do any post processing? (I guess I tried PP and it still won't come close).
I also found the VR on mine doesn't seem...

I no longer own Canon, but use this site comparison tool. I think the Fuji is at least a match to 5D2, so I bought the X-E1.

My X-E1 is still on the delivery truck somewhere and it should knock my door any minute :)
But, I am happy to see Fuji is pushing ahead. I did a lot of research before I jump in to Fuji, after...

Thanks for sharing this. Very interesting. I do have a real T/S lens (PC-E 24mm), but I am switching to X-E1, and if this set up works well, I may sell my PC-E 24.

good deal! I still waiting for mine from NYC, it is on the delivery truck... :)
From their eBay listing, they didn't mention 1-d shipping. Did you negotiate that after?
Enjoy your new toy!

Either a Fuji 35mm/1.4, or a manual film lens like Nikon's legendary AI-S 24mm.
