Seems like what the 60d should have been canon has always had a tradition of offering 3 groups of cameras entry level,mid-level (semi-professional), and of courses professional. Seems worth wild
Seems promising specs wise sample images seem great. I might have found a replacement for my f70exr. Hope to hear from other sources in the near future.
I am still waiting for the 60mm macro lens but this lens seems very interesting i just hope olympus offer slower f/stop and more affordable lens to the system
While still learning about 4k technology have companies began 4k switch including broadcast and have 4k enable tvs started mass production? I understand there will be early adopters and professional requirements. I guess my question is what is the need for a special camera like this?
justmeMN: Is Panasonic serious about selling Lumix mirrorless cameras in the USA? I have never seen ad ad for them.
In a San Diego Bestbuy has the Panasonic and so does Target
Im sorry but the panasonic gf and line-up hasn't been very impressive lately i wish companies would follow the old tradition of film less bodies with an increased shelf life while expanding lens profromance and lens variety.
I finally can afford an Adobe Product since i have been using zoner 14 and paint.net great entry level software it might be time for a change.
Well its good to hear the Pentax Q has dropped to $499 if and when the camera hits $399 i take a dive
So the 4k camcorder is being offered glad to hear spec wise seems promising
The different companies that join a open format means a great selection of products.
Thanks another great article to learn from
SteveNunez: I'd like to see Sigma also support the other lens mounts such as Samsung NX, Pentax Q, the new Fuji mount etc as less expensive alternates to the OEM offerings. It seems as if only m4/3 and NEX systems are supported.(read Samsung has not opened their lens mount specs to outside lens makers, shame.)Thumbs up to Sigma for supporting these new popular standards.
I don't see any near future that Sigma will make any lens for Samsung.
Just wondering did Nikon have a mock-up 500mm f4 at CES it seems some publications stated it
Katsura: 20x, think of the compromises in such a lens design.I'm willing to bet it's quantity over quality.
thats a typical fuji move the f100fd, 200exr, and the f70 were the best offered cameras from the exr cameras everything else its just a slight improvements.
Interesting it seems the new exr compacts have to have lens start at f3.5 is it hard to give f2.8 it would be greatly appreciated
the sensor size might be great upgrade from the fujifilm hs-10 but the price is a ball buster but like most fuji cameras sounds good on paper but the results must be tested with real world samples.
A very dark day in the world of photograpghy i enjoy the kodak film
tkbslc: I thought the new 12-50 was supposed to be a fast lens. Or was that the Panasonic one.
thats the panasonic for the most part this lens was a surprised due to the fact it wasn't announced or leaked
DonTom: @Nate 21: Good question, but this is will be no slower at 42mm than the current kit lenses. This will be a kit lens with a weather sealed body, and looks like a big step up to me.Great lens for an outdoors photographer, and there is a nice range of fast primes now to complement it in low light. It will be interesting to see if the IQ is high, this could be a brilliant landscape lens.
Yea i know the IQ will be superior like all Oly glass hopefully this lens will begin the weather sealed tradition that olympus is famous for and maybe the weather sealed bodies will be introduced at the beginning of next year as well?
