I bought one recently and have barely picked up my D600, it's a little gem.

Got to be the kids who are now too frightened to own up. There has to be a general amnesty in a situation like this and hopefully someone will cough up.
Don't whatever you do take it too far, it's...

Using Camranger with a D600 and it works flawlessly. I'm also impressed that the software is constantly being refined with new features. Money well spent (assuming you have a use for such a device).

Hi Sutto

My hints1/ Shoot raw2/ Use Lightroom3/ Buy Thom Hogan's recently released book (pdf) about the D600It's a fantastic camera with a sensor we could have only dreamed about a few years ago.

MateI know nothing about Fuji cameras (hopefully that will change soon) but have you got auto ISO activated?

It's an amazing camera but you'd think it was a pile of junk if you read the posts on this forum.Nice photos btw...--BobPerth, Western Australia

If that's what your clients want what's the problem? They're paying the bills and can do whatever they want with THEIR images.

Why should Nikon pay for the repair? A bent pin is not a defect or failure, it has to have been caused by the user albeit an accident. Nobody wants to take responsibility for anything in this day...

Had my sensor cleaned for free by Nikon (Hartlands) in Perth, Australia. Denied there was a confirmed issue and refused to read anything on the net.

If you're shooting outside have you considered the 70-200 F4?
-
Nikon are not denying the problem, my local service centre in Perth, WA are well aware of the issue and have a fix.

This guy (Neil) is playing you all like fools. Why do even repond?

It's a fantastic camera, a rocket blower is also doing it for me. Have fun..

Not really but I was asking why Nikon are so secret about issues and gave the D800 focus problem as an example. She replied that a fix was now in place and Nikon had been very communicative and...

Owned the D700 and now have the D600. I use it for a variety of subjects including surf life saving events and other sports (not a lot of low light stuff). I've seen no difference between the...

I had exactly the same experience at the Nikon service centre in Perth, Aust. They cleaned the sensor for free and told me it was all dust and not oil. No hassles and they were happy to chat, there...

This is also happening with my D600, the shutter will release despite the camera not being in focus. Has anyone confirmed this behaviour with Nikon?
