I do believe that it is upside down and then the water drop inverts the picture. Look at the out of focus eyes, they are upside down. I cant imagine hanging a baby upside down and think it was a picture of a baby. I STILL LOVE IT THOUGH. I showed my wife when it was first entered,,she couldnt stop laughing at the kids expression!!
