Thanks everyone - beautiful place to take photos - I have plenty of shots but are having trouble reviewing them all as my wife and I are in month eleven of a 'mature gap year' trip. We are currently in Portugal and we don't stop anywhere for long. I will try and post more soon. The original colour pic was taken with a D750 and the 70 - 200 VR 11 and converted to B&W in LR5. I am traveling with a Microsoft Surface Pro 3.I have posted the colour shot in my gallery. Not sure what size it could print to.
That should be the northern hemisphere :-)
Must they be shot in medium format film as most of his are?

Suggest you clean the oil/dust spots off your sensor - the sky is full of them
Thank you - Namibia is photography heaven
No hunting involved here - other than hunting for the boat from which the fish was thrown (likely in Namibia)
Are panos allowed?
Thanks - its a serious business!
A question - the rules say:Take a photo of a pair scissors.
Should you have not DQed all with more than 1 pair?
Thanks Ruth, appreciate your comments - its a beautiful spot (Amity point on Stradbroke Island, looking back to the mainland)
I see some seals heavily disguised as dolphins in here
I was thinking the same. A street appears to be defined as a public thoroughfare - not a track through crops
Why aren't some of these DQd ie the 2 pictures of flowers and this one:
