I think I mean back focus
-
Well I've never seen a convincing front focus problem before. The first 2 really look like they are focused to far back. I need the 100% view to see the problem
I'd get a soft toy (teddy bear)...

Is it possible that the camera was never profiled. As far as I know many cameras, say all Panasonics, are un profiled

Might be D300 or D700. But he doesn't have a D7000

Basically the camera manafacturers lie about iso on DSLRs. They do this as most consumers fall for it. They look at the D90 output on DPreview at iso 1600 and say that the noise is really low. Well...

He changed to manual focus on the lens. It needs to be set on the body.Well thats how I do long exposures and they work
No I'm wrong my D90 will take an out of focus shot with the lens in manual...

I think that the problem here is DPreview. Are they trying to get bigger in the field of consumer reviews.
I have no problem with the OP. I just think these reviews shouldn't show up in threads

I think it would be best to leave more money for lenses or flashes or software. You pay a large premium for the latest. So yes D7000 but even D90 D5100. But do look through the view finder. The D90...

In reality we a have al the resolution need and probably have since 12Mp or 16Mp.
The difference is really about depth of field control which will be visible on prints of any size or even small web...
