Its well worth trying lightroom for better results in terms of detail and noise
But i think that when you see good shots in the web its not better camera
2 things will give the shots you've shown...

Not sure what FWC stands for. But by definition you can't measure the SNR of a single photosite
-
I think low light is the iso for a particular noise level (in a print)
I think these are judged only at base iso

A few pointers
You did nearly confuse me. All DXO mark scores are based on an 12 by 8 print. The Screen scores you used were added after consumer pressure but really mean nothing. DXO mark scores...

In general I agree. My D70s was all i really needed. But it seemed to be getting less reliable so splashed out on a used D90
But I'm a bit more nervous of saying not good enough for me but good...

If its good enough why did you sell it?

I don't think anything will change from where ever you normally shoot. You'll cope just fine whatever standard zoom you have
Its an intresting perspective. When some one says california my first...

So in Lightroom when I use the camera value for White balance what does t do?
I find White balance is one of those things that needs a bit of fiddling with and is the main reason I'd like a RAW...

To me it shows the benefit of RAW. The image is saved. I bet the people in it just saw a great shot when they were shown it
But I would love to see the a comparison with say a D7000. is it the...

I agree. But I wonder if that is a difference in focusing. So that the D7000 is focused bag on for the centre but the but the D800e is a bit off to get the edges better. I've certainly read of...

A few point.
What 1 blur unit means is undefined. I'm sure that is made clear on the website some where. They are using arbitrary units that are not the same for different systems.
but the best...

I see no real benefit at all to a landscape photographer buying a 35mm f1.8. That lesns bring fast aperture to the party not but I don't see you using that on landscapes
Save your money for what...

His is a perfectly sensible reaction to world of people that obsess every detail of camera and lens and the never bother to do anything that needs the resolution they have now achieved
The myth...

Parkcameras is a huge online retailer and mail order company. Lucky you for living nearby

I think Simon has a good point. You are shop not a manufacturer. It matters not whether your pointing to punters to Olympus or Canon.
However I think it does lead more subtle point. The store...

But also a touch creepy. That's presumably that's why they want the gear list completed. So they can target advertising.
It will be the ultimate camera not photography site

Yes I can see its your front
So its your front end but the money goes through Amazon who ship the goods
I'm not complaining but it probably best to be clear
Also lets factor in that...
