BenoitD: I currently own a G11 (as well as a DSLR), which I'm extremely pleased with as it seems to me the ideal compromise between portability and sophistication. I can't wait to see some sample shots from the G15 at full aperture, to see what effect the new lens has on depth of field, as the excess thereof is in my opinion the greatest drawback of a small-sensor camera.
I love G11, too. I much prefer G12's front control dial. I was going to buy a G12, but I will wait until the G15's reviews are available. My 3 year old G11 functions fantastically. Only issue is that it developed some dead pixels on the LCD.
I wonder if Canon fixed DPP software problem. Their newest version has problem of making re-sized photos blurry. I shoot in raw and convert/resize to JPEG. The newest software makes end result less sharp. The software came with G12/S95 converts from raw to JPEG without blurriness. The software came with G11/S90 converts from raw to JPEG without blurriness.
The newest software came with Canon 60D converts from raw to JPEG with blurry image when resizing from a big raw file to smaller JPEG file.
