  • If you have an issue report it to one of the other MODS or Admin. No need to discuss it in the forum. Yet your reply offered no inspiration
  • Problem is those nine words do not mean that you do not get the lens control error with the aperture problem. This latest reply of yours is the first time you say in this exchange that the lens ...
  • Crikey! Does this need to be spelt out. I was letting him now his camera was manufactured at the start of 2013 compared to yours and Griddi in 2012. What new calculation? There is no new calculation. ...
  • You might have misinterpreted that as well. The poster gave a serial number starting with 3AQ which suggests the first quarter of 2013. You may have bought your camera in mid 2013 but both your ...
  • Damn! I came up with Monkey Island then realised it is too small.
  • Lovely down there at Portsea
  • All that said, is there any difference between the RAW output from the free version and the full version? You seem to value the Adobe value slightly more than Silkypix (for hghlight recovery but ...
  • Replied in RFC EX ...
Reviewer didn't say it was hard, only crap. Same questionn for you that I asked Trevor: Is there any difference between the RAW output from the free version and the full version?
  • Don't know but it screams Gaudi. I would say then it is in Barcelona (Park Guell) but then maybe not weird enough to be Gaudi, a cheap knock off.
  • Considering the X10 and X20 were made in Japan do you think these models have the QC you would have expected? IMO the perception is not the best. In the end a product "assembled" in Japan or China ...
  • I was focussing on the stuck aperture blade problem as you did in your earlier reply to the OP. We have 2 cameras with very different serial numbers (2AD and 2DQ) with stuck aperture blades. ...
  • Good question? One option is to try what CAcreeks suggests above. Change the RAW file so it refers to x20 rather than x30. You will only have to do it until the x30 is supported.
  • And if my car is the so called 1 in 1000? Your example was ridiculous. Get over it.
  • Amateur or pro regardless. They produced some good data that people here can use.
  • Your phone call was obviously post April 2012 once Fuji finally recognised the problem. In February of that year there was an interview with an executive of the company who ridiculed people in a ...
  • The 2 cameras have very similar marks except for RAW image quality which the reviewer puts down to software choice for the Fuji (he was forced to use Silkypix as the X30 was not supported by ACR). ...
  • Agreed! It is more like blowing an engine in a 3 year old car out of warranty then having to pay the replacement value for the whole car to get it fixed. I would sell the car as is and spend the ...
  • Couldn't disagree more with your last statement. It comes in to the usability of the product and that there are people who use this software. Should they put a caveat instead? " Excellent RAW ...
  • This serial number suggests a camera made in the first quarter of 2013. Prime suggests the lens control error due to a faulty component was in cameras with serial number 2DQ only which suggests ...
  • Not sure if others have seen this X30 review here: http://www.photoreview.com.au/reviews/advanced-compact-cameras/fixed-lens/fujifilm-x30 While the X30 isn't a major upgrade to the X20, the new EVF ...
