Actually, I suspect that they post these rumours because they have an NDA. This is a way to get round it. I know I visit DPR much less these days, because there is more "news" on the rumour...

@Betarover:
re. Question 2: I believe (off the cuff, from when I was looking at the E-PL5) that the only feature you would need to access via the touchscreen is the video teleconverter. Which was...

My favourite is a Vivitar Series 1 200mm F3.0. It usually needs a contrast boost, but there really are very few equivalent lenses made....this image was handheld from the "cheap seats" at a night...

Hopefully it's a permanent ban. I log on here every couple of weeks, hoping he's been kicked out. Can't be bothered commenting or posting here while "Te Idiot" is hounding everyone. Not holding my...

You know how some Leica users put black tape over their red dot before going "downtown"? Here's what Olly users do when they're going "uptown":Ohhhh, wait. Leica did that to their own camera! The...

This one Guy?http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3278207I agree with you, I doubt that it will be terribly effective with the 3 axis IS of the PENs, especially if they use the software...

Hi Jim,Not sure how it works. None of the reviewers have tested it so far, that I can tell. Would have asked Robin Wong, but I know he's not into video, and he may have given it back by now.I have...

Always, always, buy the lens before you upgrade the body. You can work around camera issues, but the glass rules the image.

Great news, for me. Full HD tele-converter, but no reviewer even tries it out! Personally, I am very excited about it, for sports. Means I can get some good video of my kids playing rugby, skiing...

I agree, this would be my ideal 2 lens combo.I use the 14/2.5, 20/1.7 & 45/1.8 personally, but you will often need to go wider for cityscapes.

Come now, have you never heard of fill flash, bounce flash? To be honest, your post reveals a lack of knowledge and imagination, not a surfeit of the same.
And it's "you're off", not "your off". ;)

Hi Teru,I agree that is hard to give up the pop up flash after getting used to it on the E-PL1, which I also use. In the video linked...

Teru, they have already given you what you are looking for, in the E-PL5. It even follows the styling of the E-P3. I'd take that as a clear sign that it is the true replacement.I also have the...

Yes, I'd buy that combo instead of the E-M5, as long as the EVF is in the corner!Getting the 60/2.8 macro in the meantime.

It's taken away one of my main reasons for not buying the camera! However, now the E-Pl5 has given me a new one: the movie tele-converter (a-la Panasonic) has been introduced on this model. You can...

Hi Ming,Yes, I was being diplomatic in not mentioning that dark side of the country. But luckily you have the strength of private enterprise for those that aren't in that tangled web. Although...

+1At the risk of sounding culturally biased (my wife is from Malaysia), I think we are seeing the Malaysian work ethic shine through here. It is a country where enormous amounts of output is...

I'm in agreement with you amalric. The Lomography afficionados are going to be disappointed with this lens! Yet again, the lenses that Olympus produce make it less likely for me to upgrade my...
