  • I originally wanted this camera. But the A7 models blur my focus on this one. I might just get an A7

  • I like it too. Panasonic fan for years. Looks like a good one for sure.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this. I loved how lenses are made. This was a good one. Nice work.

  • In the automotive industry there is a simple phrase said. " I cannot comment on future product." This was about 2 clicks to the right of that. I read this article 3 times, felt I was about same as...

  • Time to square off against 3300 and 5500 from Nikon.

  • Would love this for Airshows, and the like, and some wild life etc. From a far. Want small too.

  • Commented on Hands-on with Nikon's new D5500 article

Another reason I will not go back to Nikon. My Pentax K5 mk.2 gives me so much more for less money. I had many Nikons before. Pass on this one.

  • Wow. I like the specs on this Canon. Been pining for a 7D Mk. II. Well the excuses are no good anymore. Is it better than the 7D? Don't know but hmm.

Good for all the Canon system folks out there...

Nice Camera without the huge bulk. I see myself taking this around allot. Small, but still takes fine images. Miss my other Panny camera I had. It was a good one.

  • Commented on Hands-on with the Pentax K-S1 article

When I can still get the K-5 mk.2 with or without AA filter, it makes this look a bit a non player. Or I would save up for the K-3. Need a Pentax now, well, yes, just buy the K-50 too!

  • Hey Smoothglass get a focus here, it is my opinion, and does not make it more or less valid than anyone else, so adjust your f stop accordingly when calling someone a troll.

  • Sony does it again making something no one asked for, or cares about. The a6000 is a competent camera for its type, the a5100 is saying would you like your car without the steering wheel, and...

  • I agree, I am torn by the idea of anything proprietary. Support in the long run is important. Many external USB drives is cheap. Backup to the cloud etc. I love to use multi factor backup as...

  • I have never been so enthusiastic about a camera in a long time. With the exception of my mental Olympus E-10, this camera blows me away with all the metrics that matter to me. Nice low light ...
  • Created user reviews Frustratingly good camera.
I love this camera so much, I could never part with it. Its' wonderful optics, solid build, and very nice images are the highlights here. Frustratingly slow in processing, next to useless LCD ...
  • Commented on Pentax K-5 II and K-5 II S preview

I couldn't agree more. I looked at the Nikon, and Canon etc. The K-5II is such a terrific camera bargain.

  • That is an amazing shot that Medal with at 400m. I thought it was a close up shot too.

  • Commented on Pentax K-3 Review preview

I have the K-5II and love it. Uncertain if the K-3 will give me more in IQ, in video shooting probably, but want to still learn more before I get one. Certainly has the feature set I want. I am...

  • One of my dream cameras. Only thing is this one big camera like a Canon 1D family. Pros' love these cameras. I am certainly not a pro, but can appreciate these great cameras all the same.
