This is the same problem I have with my Pentax K-r DSLR. It does decent enough ISO 3200 with available indoor light compared to my other cameras, but pop the flash and shoot and it still chooses...

I don't think we can entirely blame Nikon. How many reviewers knock a camera down in points for not having a dedicated movie button and not being fast enough.  I could show you some camera reviews...

I don't tend to change my lenses that often so I bought three too many lenses, Jon.  Still, it is nice to have the choice when I need it.  And I look forward to adding to my V1 collection...

Those are really good photos, Jon.  I do intend to eventually get that lens.  I just want to err on the side of caution.  And I need to save up for it.  Thanks.

Hi, I got my V1 and took it out yesterday, just a few pictures in the house and a walk around the block.    I only have the 10-30mm lens, no flash.  I have to say I am more impressed than I thought...

I guess I didn't figure out the organizational capabilities of LR.  I like to bring mine in with whatever program I am using with the date and a description.  These are actually temporary folders...

Thanks, RB. That is most helpful. I tried LR several months ago. I loved the tools, absolutely loved the sliders, but I didn't want the organization abilities. That part was confusing and disliked....
