Impressive. Slightly more noise then the D800 so it seems.
Not that it matters ;)
ageha: Most photos aren't sharp but I guess that"s not the camera's fault.
As far as i can tell, two reasons;
1: Some of the shutter speeds used are on the slow side. Obviously demonstrating the image stabilization capabilities.
2: The lens used isn't the sharpest of the Pentax collection.
I am in deep deep consideration to get me a K-3. The overall package is just so brilliant!
And since my K-5 i always found it the perfect street/walk around camera with it's awesome and tasty pancakes. :)
And they look so awesome imo!! And the feel....
CeleryBeats: It all boils down to the same question. Why would i buy this???
BECAUSE IT'S A NIKON! :D
It all boils down to the same question. Why would i buy this???
Rick Knepper: Depending on how one defines the word "stage" in photography terms, most photos are staged in one respect or another even in some so-called candid photography. In this case though, it appears unlikely that the subject was "pretend dying" for the camera which is the prevalent concern for PJ.
hehe! I know all about staging photographs because i do it on a weekly basis. :) But yes, in this case staged as in, a guy pretending to die. It's not that unbelievable. I like to believe it's real though. Just pointing out what i red.
Intrestingly I red that this photograph was likely staged.
Jake64: Can someone clarify just what makes this camera so special other than the fact it looks like it's 40 years old? This is a serious question.
It is probably the sexiest camera ever made???!!!
how is that for special? :O
With all due respect to the samples; Sony has to work on their JPEG rendering. What's going on here?
Let me tell you this;
This camera is 5 times more exciting then the Sony A7 and A7R together.
Because it expresses PERFECTION.
What a sexy camera this is!
Yanko Kitanov: This sample's aim is to that the AF is not accurate or it shows that someone had hard-time focusing?
Troll. It is in focus just fine.
Amazing image quality as expected.
I'm buying one of those!!!!
As a compact, It IS nearly perfect. Silver award is a bit like missing the point imo.
As usual. You can have nice looking thumbnails from the iphone.
Sony has balls! This is simply ingenious!
After years of a market conflicting another. Sony has the balls to connect them with a clever solution.
Sorry but you cannot be negative about this kind of clever bravery.
CeleryBeats: Awesome lens. Awaiting Full Frame equivalent.
Calorie burner and awesome optics in one package! Even better :P I believe in evolution. Some people thought this lens to be impossible as well. One day we'll be holding our 24-500 1.0 compact lens and look back at the good old days :P
Awesome lens. Awaiting Full Frame equivalent.
Matt1645f4: call me a pessimist but it just sounds like something else to go wrong within a camera. Don't get me wrong it is an exciting and ground breaking development. i just keep thinking of all those old cars we see with hardly any electronics and the newer modern cars that are continually developing problems in their electrics.
On the other hand if we fear failures within evolution we would still be riding horses today.
A small but worthwhile evolution it would be.
Though i still don't see any need, by miles, to give my D800 more resolution as it is. What a beast :)
