Best pocket-sized Canon I've ever owned. Worth the price.
hkschung2: I recently bought a g15. It is really an excellent compact camera, with a fast lens and well control panel. It's build quality is also great - despite the screen. The build quality of the screen ruins the overall impression of this well-built camera. The right side of the screen is soft - you can actually press it down, it seems the screen is not well attach to the body. It seems that it is not a special case only for my g15, as I had tried two g15, they both have the same problem. Nonetheless, I am surprised by its low light performance. It is a great camera.
Not sure what you mean about the screen. I've got my unit right here and I feel no "softness" anywhere around (or on) the screen. The unit is built like a tank. Everything about it is tight.
Pavel Sokolov: Who is interested in canon g** if you can buy the real large sensor compact like olympus pen or panasonic DMC for the same price or even lower?
I am. I just bought my G15 and am extremely pleased with it.
Oh boy, this one looks great! My T3i is my favorite but sometimes I just want a pocket unit and my Samsung is getting long-in-the-tooth. Just ordered it for Saturday. Can't wait! I'm a true Canon fan ... they've never let me down.
