Is an interesting subject and I like the composition. I would try to liven up the sky and a water a bit, maybe more saturation, or different color curve. Also, the trash gotta go!
Nice snapshot. Agree with being a bit soft, so maybe a bit sharpening and bit tider crop would improve it.
Very nice. I like all about it, colors, sharpness and the pose. Only thing I would try here is to crop a quite bit of bottom of the shot, see how it will look. Other than that, nothing comes to my mind, great job!
Am I glad this is not my job!! Looks like very dangerous profession to me. I may be wrong, but I see some artifacts (sharpening) on the full size of it. Skin color is good, and his (?) eyes are sharp, if possible I would show some more of his face.
Just a small favor to ask. Can we keep the size to 1600 mp? Some of the wonderful shots here, are posted at full resolution, which make it really hard to see them in full size. Thank you.
Very hard shot for me, getting white balance right is hard to achieve, yet you did very well here. I like the whites, the skin color and pleasing background. If any changes, I would crop entire shot focusing more on the face. Also agree with others regarding the tired expression, but that would be rally hard to change.
This shot is confusing me. I like the woman, her surprised/concern expression. My bones with this shot is distracting background (my attention is drawn to kung-fu master in the whit uniform) and overall softness of model's face.
Very nice shot, I like sharpness, colors and contrast. Would like to see exif, to see the aperture, my completely amateurish guess is about 4/5.6 on FF. Nothing to change in my opinion, I like to play with shadows and see if entire black background may improve it, but this is nitpicking at the best. Well done!
Interesting shot, sad dog. The mood of the animal call for soft tones, but I like to see bit more contrast here. Also, there is white area on the right side of its nose, which is blown out. I think this shot has lot of potentials, given some PP.
I like the pose and colors of it. Focus is bit in front, whiskers on the nose are sharp, while the one near the eyes not so much. Also, the red rug is unnecessary distraction. I also would dump the watermark in the contest.
My apology to all who commented on my previous post: Apathy. As I agreed with most opinions regarding soft eyes, it is not something I could improve, so I came up with different shot. Thank you all for your effort and sorry for changing the shot.
Very nice, soft, innocent look, I like it. My only advice here would be to crop it differently, restore top of her hat and crop bit top right corner.
I like this shot. Very nice pose and the cute dog with interesting colors. Is hard to tell more, as the full size of the shot is humongous, maybe reducing it to 1600 mp on longer side would give us all a better perspective.
Very lovely capture, children are always a great subject and this one is no exception. Since you mentioned using prime lens, I would like to see it shot wide open, giving the background more blurry look. I found the people behind her bit distracting
I like the pose, the facial expression and overall mood of it. I found the walker (?) behind the person bit distracting. Also, in full scale, shot look a bit soft.
While I admire your ability to handheld shot at this FL, looking at the full size shows some visible blur. I use shutter equal 1.5-2 x FL, so I am sure that much faster shutter speed would render sharper photo. Other than that, is a really nice shot.
I agree, that seeing the eyes, even at the expense of the face, would make it more interesting
Nice capture. I would like to see it cropped a lot, maybe only her face and shoulder, it probably would better the idea or portrait
effstawp: Doesn't matter how you cut it, the D600 was a PR disaster from the get go.
I see the previous picture, but no comments there. As for this entry I like colors much better on this one.
