Looks interesting to me - as a complement to my other Canon DLSR's. This form factor will be sweet when coupled with a 24-28mm pancake lens. Too many issues with Canon's mirrorless, especially w/r/t focus. The size and weight is small enough to keep many Canon DSL shooters from trying 4/3's, Sony Nex, Oly, Fuji - etc. as a supplement to their DLSR. Why not have the functionality of a DLSR, small size, and the ability to swithch lenses with your other Canon bodies compaired to the alternatives? I have an older Rebel that my wife uses and I use when I want to travel light, and this or its successor will likely be that camera body's successor - if they don't come up with a FF version of the same (understadably a bit larger) :-)

Collett: THIS CHALLENGE SHOULD BE THROWN OUT. INCONSISTENT AND ABRITRARY RULES HAVE BEEN APPLIED.
No - you made the comment that they would be allowed and left many entries alone that were clearly not the photographers POV - and relying upon that I entered the challenge (only one entry). Then my entry got disqualified andthe others were still in at that point. It appears you dumped the others in an attempt to be consistent. Look - the problem is you changing the rules as you go alongbecause you were not so clear initially. If you change your rules - you should err on the side of being overly inclusive and letting the voters decide as was you INITIAL decision. However, these discussions would have likely been spoilers for entrys such as mine with the poll vaulters feet anyways regardless of what the initial rules said.

See your statement below "I just cancelled the disquallification on this photo and a couple others. On reassessment I decided that technically it meets the criteria of it being your feet with a background and I will leave it up to the voters to decide how fantastic it is." You did not cancel the others when I made the statement and instead you changed your mind again in stating that you disqualified all of these - hence the term abritrary at the time I made the post.

Why no hang gliders, is there going to be a separate challenge for those?
Lots of great entrys in this challenge.
Great capture!
Well done!
Not a great contest when it fills up the day it starts. Dissapointing.
,,,, this is what a missed focus looks like on the great 5dIII ...... not much different than one on my 20d
The Mick: Very nice photo! I love the shallow depth of field on this one. BTW, she looks very much like her father. ;o)
Best regards,
Mick
