mailman88: Love to see a toe-to-toe comparison between the RX100 III vs Sony's A6000. Have equivalent lens on both cameras and lets compare. My money is on the A6000

Similar priced and both are gold award winners

Roland Karlsson: Nice! I have been waiting for a small camera with good image quality. Maybe this is the one.

A6000 at 24mp, another small camera that gets the job done

I see a lot if Canikon users getting very nervous here. Is it because they paid 3 times more for the same performance and have to carry 3 times the weight ;-)
Kudos to Sony for making these incredible cameras available for us customers at more affordable prizes is all I have to say!

not saying its equal to the A7s, just responding to Zeisschen making a comment how affordable the A7s, which is not the case. In most shooting situations, 95% of ALL DSLRs can match the A7s. Its the 5% of certain photo ops were the A7s excels.

I can shoot 3200ISO and print 13x19, 6400ISO and print 11x14 with my 7D, sold the prints...that's enough for me. Go ahead and shoot 25600 and print 11x14 with the A7s. When you do, post it. Let us know what you think about the results.

Me nervous about the Sony Alpha a7S costing $2,498.00.....NO!
My Canon 7D can go toe-to-toe with the A7s in most shooting situations at half the price... and I have better lens selection too.

I'll take my Nokia 1020 over the S5 any day.

Can the S5 shoot a 2000ISO pic shot at night, and print it at 11x14. My Nokia 1020 can.....

Still too short....400mm should be available for the wildlife shooters

Sergey Borachev: Who cares?

It's got the wrong OS. Proprietary stuff and little apps, no way! The greatest camera is no use. Software first.

Nokia 1020 has great photo software apps. As for the non essential apps, yes Nokia is lacking. Nokia told the media, they'll catch-up on the app department in 2014.
As for my Nokia 1020, spot-on exposure, shoots raw and excellent results..I'm happy!

mailman88: I've had my Nokia 1020 for a week now and love it. The detail from the pics is fantastic. I just shoot and transfer pics to Skydrive.

Hard choice for me, buy the 1520 or 1020. The 1520 has a faster processor and shoots raw. The 1020 has more megapixels. Nokia will upgrade the 1020 to shoot raw soon.
So I bought the 1020....

Oh by the way, my 7D is still works and I use it.

20 pics, haven't tried it yet. But 5 pics is less than a minute

Torsten Hoff: Is anyone else having a problem with the video overlay for DPReview Live on the main page appearing on top of the menus? The menus slide under the video overlay as I hover on different items, so I can't click on most of them.

As a workaround I select any arbitrary menu item, and once the browser navigates away from the main page, I access the menu again and go where I wanted to go in the first place.

yes...
