What do you mean by holding your camera vertically

the OMD nails low light focus everytime, I wish it was like that. In today's iphone age a "proper" camera has to be very quick for candid shots of friends.

Is anyone else disapointed with the low light focus abilities of this camera? it doesn't have to even be that dark for it to fail, which is disapointing since an obvious strength of the sensor is...

got you, mine was alreday set to that. The issue occures when I am photographing something which is not filling the frame in its entirety, so I will try the smaller area and see how that works

Mainly the OVF - which in, say, zone focusing mode, will allow you to pan slightly better for action as there is no delay as with an EVF

So the AF point should be in the middle and set to "area" in the menu rather than "multi" right?

I thought someone somewhere else said that a small focus point will slow focus overall? Is that true? Are you recommending just always having the small focus point all the time? Has anyone compiled...

Is f4 a low apeture shot? It is ridiculous to think that the Olympus 40-150 lens is sharper wide open at all lengths than the Fuji 35mm at f4.

What is the likely dxomark score of the Fuji sensor?

Thanks All. Given that I only really want one photo a year of my dog or so, I should perserve with MF zone focusing perhaps to acgieve the desired result? After all, advanced AF systems exist...

I suppose with any camera I can pre-focus to an area and get them to run toward me.
