That seems intellectually convenient. Nikon made in Japan or Nikon made in Thailand, money ends up going to the same place.

It should be a 2.0 lens and a few hundred dollars cheaper. A nicer UI than typical Nikon would be nice too.

That's a problem then. If an articulating screen conflicts with weather sealing, Pentax should give a choice between the two. Perhaps on the entry level K-x/K-r camera vs K-30 and above...

It's a good feature. The lack of it is what makes cameras like the K-01 sub-par.
