You also might want to try comparing both @ 6.7, since the oly is 6.7 wide open and the 100-300 5.6 wil sharpen up when closed down a bit to the same aperture. Kind regards, Harro

Very interesting lens, I hope to replace my 45-200 with this one. I'm trying to avoid FL's above 150mm anyway, so I'd rather have a fast 100mm. The wider end also makes it a more general purpose...

I think it looks larger than it really is.
Using the lensmount as reference, I guess this is somewhat the same size as the panny 14-45 or 14-42.
