Nice work!
I'm sure that you will enjoy this camera.
I've had mine for about 5 months and it continues to amaze me.

I tried to reproduce the effect, as you described, and after 20 tries, could not do itStrange, very strange.

This is a strange phenomenon indeed. Sad? I don't know about that.If you wish to avoid this sadness, don't engage in that behavior. But more to the point, no, my P7700 doesn't do that, no matter...

How many "????????" and "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" do you need?

I agree with all that you say, Nikonworks. In addition, the choice of the lens really baffles me; the focal length and the speed. Why couldn't they make it more like the P7700? Do they hope that...

I have a D5100 and a P7700. They both have the same sort of screen. The D5100 is a little over 1 year old and the P7700 is about 4 months old. They both get moderate, careful use. No problems.

A wonderful shot; carefully composed (and timed), perfectly exposed. The light in the top of the lighthouse isn't blown and there is some detail in the snow. Well done.

Hi Ben-Great shots! you managed to document the events very completely and well. You're right, wines are a growing thing in North Carolina. My niece and her husband bought a winery in North...

I chose that one even before I read your remarks.I think the sun shines there the same amount that it does in NYC. About one out of five or six days.Hans

It's very cheap, portable and effective. I'm surprised that more photographers (myself included) don't use it very often.Nice books!

Yes, I would buy it again, no buyer's remorse here.I have had the camera since the end of November and where I live, the sun has come out about one out of five days this winter. As a result,...

The choice of background in a portrait is more important than the quality of the bokeh. It can be controlled either at the time of taking the picture or in the dark/light room.My experience with...

Number 4, without any reservations. It will answer all of your questions and will be a valuable reference.

To me, the first shot looked "so Vermont" the Green Mountains in the background. My son and his family live in northern Vermont. It was only after i posted my reply that I checked your profile.I just...

Nice shots, thoughtfully chosen and carefully executed. For me, the lens is a little long on the short side, just as my Siggy 17-50 is on the long side. I keep wishing for a high-performance, fast...

I agree. Very nice shots, No. 2 being the best. The others are well executed as well.

Charming model! Very nice lighting. CLS is such a great feature on this camera. This group could benefit from seeing more of your work.
