Check out Amazon, robertscamera on eBay. Haven't purchased from them yet, but on used gear, robertscameras has 6-month warranty like KEH or Adorama.

I think the systems are strengthened. First, both Olympus and Panasonic have three classes of models. Second, refurbs and factory demos are readily available. At one time, Cameta was selling a...

Thanks. The NX1000 is very low price now, but I'll look at the NX300. I like the NX cameras-just the way they work (ergonomics) and in my limited experience am happy with white balance, exposure,...

Is it worth getting one of the newer cameras for the newer sensor. If so, why? Thanks.

Great match of sensor and lens. Reminds of rangefinder film era with fixed lens, whether a Canonet or Konica 35mm camera or a Fuji Texas Leica.

"I think that a rethought out K-02 is a possible winner ... but a different design ... articultated screen and an EVF ....." Yes. And just some little things. Ability to demarcate a much smaller...

Good thoughts. If I were the smaller firm, I would work harder at communicating with customers and offer the best warranty and service in the business.

It's interesting how some of the first digital cameras projected a more sophisticated or serious photographer. Thus, my Olympus C-2040 will integrate 3 spot readings!

Looks like a nice cameras. Just think Body Only should be somewhere around $300. We are well past development costs on this format and, wow, no cost for mirror, optical viewing, etc.

Any way to fire an external flash fitted with PC connector from the NX 100. would like the externall flash to be the sole flash. Thanks.

Then why aren't the Sony or Pentax mount lenses less costly. Why not put OIS in the lens and the user can choose to turn off in-camera shake reduction.

Interesting comments. I think part is the recognition that one must compete at the high end, higher value, more profit product. Those buying a camera with kit lens, will likely do fine and not...

Good suggestion. I have been looking at KEH more. Especially as KEH has a nice 2-week return and 6-month warranty. Just wish they paid a little more going in the other direction.

Looking on eBay. Folks want more for a K-R than a K-30. Almost looks like it makes more sense to look for a K-5.

"For example I dream of a focus stacking engine implemented in the firmware, moving the focus of a small delta and taking a picture, then loop for n times: a sort of bracketing for focus. And that...
