Good question, but if it went from PSD to TIFF, I would at least have a file.

DPReview is trying to be a reference review that we can read 10 years later and it still means something. I don't mind that. If I can afford to buy the camera right when it comes out, the review...

Except Nikon has exceptional market presence, intense advertising budget and a wonderful brand equity.

Why is only Fuji the one trying to advance the state of viewfinders. Try harder, "Avis."

With significant vignetting?
-
"Significant vignetting in both JPEG and Raw files Pedestrian focusing limits 'decisive moment' abilities" Then, are Ricoh GR, Canon EOS-M and Sigma DP1M, 2M, 3M Gold cameras.

"We've also shot many of the same scenes with Sigma's DP1 M but will publish that as a separate article, since it's performance means it doesn't make as much sense to compare them head-to-head." ...

Nikon just had 8-page full-color INSERT in USA Today, partnered with Best Buy. Not a cheap ad buy. I think every model from entry level P&S to full-frame D600 and D800 was included.

Real incentive for getting an EOS-M. Also, other than incredible appearing a couple of times, more reasonable press release language than most.

Thanks. I just hope Samsung doesn't get too caught up in "connectivity." I don't have other cameras to compare and I know the 16 mexapixel sensor has limitations, but the camera itself (NX10) is...

Thanks, a good year for Sigma.

Shawn, thanks for following along with the comments. Value-added.

Thanks for sharing that work flow. Finally, with the new LiveView and quality LCDs/AMOLED, etc., we can use our digital DSLRs in many ways like view cameras. The ability to move around the focal...

Interesting you say that because in the US Nikon just ran a full-eight color insert in USA Today in partner with Best Buy, i.e. expensive. I never realized before how strong Nikon marketing is. ...

I'd look at what lenses you might want to use. It seems like Nikons maintain outstanding resale value, just try to find a D90, D300, etc., but so do Pentax, because there are less extent bodies...

Spot on Zvonimir. Many of us don't need the camera to look like the console of a space ship.

I'll defend dpreview on this one. First, they are really trying to be a resource of record. I still go back and read reviews written by Phil Askey! Second, they wanted to do a through comparison...

Adobe should provide Reader/Viewer apps for each major application. Then, if you no longer subscribe, you can still open a file, read it, and, hopefully, be able to export to a usable format. ...

Kit lens. No image stabilization. We did and have done it for years. The NX100 is an excellent camera and value, as I am sure the successors are.

One would like to think at this price level and as prime lenses, all the corrections "are in the glass," and don't rely on the camera's software engine.
