Two things come to mind, tho I don't have a GX7 :-( :
You need to set two things: bracketing (number of exposures, interval), which is on the Record menu; and drive mode, which on my G5 is on the...

A 1959 book by J.P. Chaplin , which deals with mass hysteria such as the reaction of some women when Rudolf Valentino died.
I've got to find out how to get some shutter shock too so I can...

I bought the PZ, and I'm totally delighted with it. I still have the 14-45 I got when I bought a G1, my first M43 camera, but I see no reason to use it. The PZ is plenty sharp. Plus, being able to...

My brain must be getting soft. I used to think Panasonic's manuals were the pits, but now they seem almost OK.
But I'll confess, when I have a question about how to do something with my camera I...

An engineer for a week comes bundled with the camera. At least that's what I got ... didn't you? He sleeps in a Panasonic sleeping bag at night on my studio floor.

A good follow-up to this interesting question of yours, once it's finished, might be: how many of the shots you take are "keepers"? E.g., 100%, 50%-100% 25%-50%, 10%-25%, 5%-10%, less than 5%.
I...

How can that be? Hyperfocal distance depends only on aperture and sensor size.
Selectable HFD would be easy to implement and useful.

Right! As the saying goes, wherever you go, there you are.
So you'll be there when you get there. Which, come to think of it, is right now.

Unfortunately I have to agree that the LVF2 provides a much more readable and comfortable view than the EVF on the new GX7. Not as fine resolution, but much larger and usable. Too bad ... . Maybe...

Wow! We must be getting short on subjects of conversation.

I would exchange it for another one, no question. I trust that's an option for you.

It seems to me the cynical responses to this post are kind of sad -- disparaging Panasonic's efforts to attract early buyers to what seems to be a first-rate product by offering a little sweetener....

That's interesting, thanks. It seems not as continuous as a positional lever, but it's something. And for zooming the lens, the zoom lever on the lens itself seems possibly more comfortable. It's...

Ideal, no. In fact, I've never given it much thought. I have two 20" (4:3) monitors, and like you, I size images for DPR most of the time at 1000 px. Works for me. ;-)

Thanks for the reply -- even though it wasn't the reply I wanted. :-)
Besides being handy for zooming and/or adjusting exposure comp, the lever on the G5 is useful for
leafing thru the many pages...

Is it possible to operate the PZ lenses from a lever on the camera (as opposed to the switch on the lens)?

Please! Not this specious idea again.

Well, maybe what we call "straight lines" are actually circles. Who knows?

If you don't like where it is, then you can complain to the authorities. Good luck!
