ChristianHass' current gear

Sigma DP1x
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II
Sony Alpha a6000
Improved handling over the DP1, better color control especially reds. Used in good light it's still a wonderful little camera.
Sony E 20mm F2.8
Sony E 50mm F1.8 OSS

ChristianHass' previous gear

Sigma DP1
Sigma DP2s
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5
Great little camera for it's time. Best sunstars of any camera/lens combination I've ever seen. Might still use it for long exposures of city lights for this single reason.
Sold as it was collecting dust on a shelf. Lovely camera though.
Replaced by RX100.
Canon PowerShot S95
Fujifilm FinePix X100
Olympus XZ-1
Not to my taste really. I'm not too fond of the controls. Image quality is good, but doesn't impress, apart from JPEG colors which are excellent.
Sold it for a Panasonic LX5 for better controls and wider angle lens.
Sigma DP1 Merrill
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100
Sigma DP3 Merrill
Replaced with RX100 II
Nikon D40
Nikon D5000
Olympus PEN E-PL1
Picked up a used D40 for backup and highspeed sync work. The 6mp sensor is showing it's age in 2013.
Replaced with D5100, like the D5100 body more (it's like the D40, the D5000 is larger).
Didn't like the poor display and the loud shutter.
Nikon D5100
Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED VR
Nice camera. AF system started to get flaky after 2 years though.
Not bad for a kit lens. Nice and light, and focuses closely. Quite sharp at f8, but slow to focus.
Sold it after getting the D5100. Too heavy and the image quality didn't impress on the 16mp sensor.
Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC HSM
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G
Nikon AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 40mm F2.8
Preferred the 50 f1.8G. I can add a closeup filter to the 50mm, I can't add a filter to make the 40mm f1.8 or make it focus faster.
