In reviewing the entries, you might want to have put a restriction on the maximum number of submissions per user.
Do you mean highways? Your last rule is all about sticking to the theme, but you provide no details or direction on what the theme actually is!

Wow - my only suggestion is to pp the road to remove the diagonal mark on the asphalt in the foreground. Great though.

tim and jan: horizon not level, not exposed long enough, the waves in front are ugly, it may be your best photo, but certainly not the best overall. what do the people look at when judging a photo

Are you looking for the more traditional definition of a still life (ie. items on a table sort of thing) or a broader interpretation as some of the other entries are (ie. 5 inanimate objects in B/W)?
