This is not totally true.  I have the 17-50 with d7100 and the only issue, and it's not even an issue to me, is that when you zoom in preview you can't hold down the directional button to scroll...

The author referenced a T1 line for download....haven't heard that in a long time.  1.5 Mbs is essentially dial up these days.  "And that's if they can even get the software in the first place....

Could care less about video.  Take it away and give me something else...

I had no problem with a couple of years use with Meike d7000 grip but certainly not every day use.  I also didn't use to mount to tripod.  Main use was for portrait orientation.

I've used The same lens with 1.4. It's adequate in very good light. Can't imaging taking the IQ hit for 2.0. Sold mine for Nikon version also.

I was being facetious. I shoot action almost exclusively and I can't imagine ever needing to hold down the shutter release and snap 100 shots and can't imagine anybody else doing it either....

It's called video then....:)

When you are shooting action indoors or under lights at night 1 stop is huge much less 2.

I've had a couple of D lenses over the years on d7000 and to be honest I did notice a difference in speed but it didn't make a difference

I'm talking about voyeuristic bikini shots of women and teens with telephoto lenses. While there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, and it is legal to do so, it doesn't make it any...

I've got a problem with street photography too, but that's another subject.  Shooting women, especially younger girls/women that you don't know at the beach is wrong...shooting them and posting on...

They look fairly soft.  I would suggest upping the ISO and faster shutter speed to stop motion blur and camera shake especially at the long end.  I hope these are all people you know vs. random...
