I've had this lens for almost a year now. I use it on a D3s and D800 were it is excellent on both. I have used Nikon's version and IQ is very hard to tell apart. The Tamron's AF is very quick, but...

How many actors are there out there? How many are A-listers? Far, far fewer I would suspect. Same as photographers. I see many veteran photogs using camera brackets and old, film ways of doing...

Seeing how Eng-lish is from Eng-land, and Americans continue to bastardize it, why on Earth should we take American dialect as standard? The Brits have a very eloquent and efficient way of...

Ask another way: If I own an older Audi S4, and hate the newer Golf GTI, will I hate the new A6 wagon/avant? None of the cameras you mention are equal. It's about what you need. The D800 body is...

Beautiful set John! I often envy Brits and Europeans and their ability to travel a few hours and pass through several different countries. What is a trip of a life time for many is a weekend jaunt...

"I'm guessing Canon's aim is to sell lots of cameras." :-). One would think, yes. As would every other camera company.
