Just for the record: we returned the NX300 and got the Canon EOS-M. So far we're perfectly happy with it and it hasn't got a "flicker" issue. :)

Hi, yeah, I guess I will do that. Right now I fancy the EOS-M, but will wade through more info here on dpreview. I'm still very glad about the help I got here - again, thanks to you all! Cheers and ...

Video with movement in it is ok, it seems. It's just static "panorama" shots that the NX300 messes up. :/ No sunsets, no nature, no architecture, etc. About the audio: it's normal this way. Quiet ...

Awwww ok, so Samsung sent me an answer. In translation, it says: "Thanks a lot for informing us. After evaluating your video sample, we are able to tell you that your camera is inside the ...

Heh :D Maybe it's a garden-shoot-hidden-preset-denoising-error! ;) Nah, I was actually thinking about maybe doing some stockvideo recordings, for which this would be of course not acceptable. It ...

Thank you pixelpuhsing. Yes, Noise Reduction was something I thought about previously. There is a noise reduction setting in photo menu I think, but none in video menu. I turned it off anyway, and ...
  • Thank you both for your video samples. The ones with the ducks are alright in my opinion, they're close enough and with movement so the error is not apparent here. In Giannis' file is exactly the ...
  • Meh. New testing today produced the same error still. On the good side, I have a new sample file which shows the problem even more clearly (or actually more clearly-blurry-clearly-blurry..). Those ...
  • Thank you, ttbek! Right now I think I used matrix metering every time. So I will try out other metering modes, thanks for suggesting! (I'm merely a beginner...) Noise reduction was turned off all ...
  • Alternatively, here's the clip on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUwYdupLUOw&feature=youtu.be
  • Tested the new SDXC card -> same result. OK, here's a sample file on WeTransfer: http://we.tl/M4jxyS1HT8 It's approx. 100MB big. Or should I upload it somewhere? I thought recompressing it via ...
  • You have to define "NTSC" in Video Output in Settings Menu. Afterwards you're able to set 30 and 60fps in the Video Menu
  • Sigh. Everything is still the same. Tried in 1080p60, 1080p30, 720p30, turned of noise reduction for high ISO and for long shots, still it looks strange and unusable. What a bummer. :( The new SDXC ...
  • Yeah, that's right :) I read about the difference in bitrate beforehand, so tried NTSC in 60frames iinstead of 50frames, unfortunately to no avail. Doesn't seem to be related to bitrate, or maybe ...
  • Hi, video was reviewed on two notebook computers, one being a MacPro, the other one a Dell XPS 15z. Programs used were Quicktime 7, Quicktime X, VLC and Adobe Premiere CS6. I don't think playback ...
  • Thanks for your replies! Yes, I tried AF as well as MF. I also recorded in 1080p/60 (NTSC) and updated firm- and lensware in the meanwhile. The flickering seems to occur mostly in wide shots btw., ...
  • Update: The SDHC card class 6 produces the same error. Samsung told me to update the firmware, so I'll gonna try this next. (I hope it's ok to monologue here ;) )
  • Hello there, I'm new here and also new to the Samsung line of cameras. And already I have a question :) (And beforehand: please excuse my English, it's not my native language) My girlfriend bought ...
