Its simply not practical to carry it round my neck when I'm lugging two bags around as well. I bought a large suitcase for the hold and a cabin bag for taking on board the plane yesterday. ...

For a while now my boss at work has been moaning that I should take a holiday as I haven't had one since I've worked for him, and I am the only one working there that hasn't. I have fancied a trip...

This is a total miscarriage of justice in my book because the Copyright of a work belongs solely to the Photographer, in this case John Alli, and no one else. A photographer can licence his work...

Thanks guys. I still pop in here for a read every now and then but I rarely comment unless there is a thread I find interesting. I am working full time now (early starts, job finish) and now...

I much prefer the more saturated colours produced by the SD1M...The sky colour in the DP1M image looks awful in comparison to the SD1M sky...The DP1M sky is way too cyan, the SD1M sky looks much...

That's easy..The EF 200mm f1.8 L! It is the ultimate street photography/long portrait lens.
I could never afford one of those babies though so given a second choice it would have to the Canon MP-E...

If you love shallow DOF in general/portrait photography, not just in macros, then you can forget all the lenses you have listed above...In fact, you can probably forget any lens of...
