This is gorgeous. I couldn't agree with you more about that lovely little Fuji lens.
This chair looks like a long legged dog without a tail. Well done
How do you define what men's work is. In western cultures women have the ability to do the same work as men including fighting on the front line. In other cultures, as babalu has already mentioned, the women do absolutely everything while the men sit around and do whatever it is they do when doing nothing. I have a huge library of men in different cultures sitting around doing men's work i.e. nothing, but very few of women doing that type of men's work, so I can't enter the challenge. So sorry, please explain what 'men's work.'
I have to say I would to see this shot in colour - the intensity of the flames.
Oh how I wish I had taken this photo!
I really love this shot and would love to vote for it, but how does sitting in a train make it an outdoors sit as per the challenge rules.
Oops, should be Baby's got blue eyes!
I used to have a cat that looked just like yours. Her name was Pookie.
Weather is NEVER that clear when I go. Well done.
Great shot. You have managed to capture something that you can only see in Nepal. Nowhere else in the world, anywhere, has the architecture you can find there.
The definition of old varies depending on culture and country. Where I live, old is over 70 years for the white population and 55 years for the indigenous. Besides how you know how old the person in the photo is. A street shooter is hardly likely to enquire the age from their subject. I know some 40 year olds who look 70 or 80 - depends on how hard they have lived their lives and level of substance abuse they have. I guess it is left to us as a photographer to interpret 'old'.
Can you please explain why the winning photo was disqualified??
Great shot, but Bhutan is in the Himalayas, not SE Asia.
I just love Patan but I don't think you find it in South-east Asia.
I'm sorry but this shot IMHO, is in rather poor taste. It may or may not be a woman's crutch, which I guess kinda fits the theme. But truly? Would you think a similar shot of a man's maybe maybe not crutch to be interesting or artistic??
RuthC: "Ever since Madam lost her ridiculous pet poodle, she's been grooming us very strangely, don't you think?"
Shall we do it. Yeah let's audition for Transformers!
This is just gorgeous. Right place, right time>
