RX1 is great but it is a one trick pony for sure. The new photo ninja converter for Fuji looks quite promising..........

That's probably right for most of us.

I would take a hard look at the D800E. I absolutely love the Sony sensor in my RX1 (not to mention the IQ). In fact I would take a hard look at a Nikon D610 if it makes an appearence.

I am really surprised that you do not shoot in RAW. I would to get my hands on a raw of that great baracuda shot and see what I could do with it. All good still.

There is no "best" workflow obviously but........ I have a high end mac and there is no way I can render and assess a big stack of raws as quickly as i can JPEGs that have already been tweaked with...
