Enough. Sorry for the OP, but this has gone too far. I hope you got the information that you needed. Thread closed.
  • Agree. Technical skills aside, still I believe it has something to teach about how to create a public "image" to move forward a youtube business. May not be compelling for pros or enthusiast ...
  • Great images, Geoffrey. I just love your BORs, BOT (Bird on trees), BOB (Bird on branch) BOLP (Bird on light post) :D
  • Awesome. I follow him, although no near a mirrorless photographer, still is an example to follow if you pursue a youtube business. Great 12MP print.
  • Replied in Check this out
It is, but this was done in 2012, and if you have had the opportunity to attend the October 2012 Photo Plus Expo, you would have seen the actual prints on the Panasonic booth.
  • Replied in Check this out
This is like the 4th time I link this video, but I really like it very much, and is a statement for those considering m43 and concerning about printing big: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39tFGoO4008
  • Replied in People please
Stop the nonsense ping pong game. 1st warning.
  • Well, if light is good, is no point to use a tripod, unless you are looking for a specific effect, like blurring water or motion blur, but when light is not so good, like indoors, your only ...
  • Replied in And the E-M10?
Are we ever going to get a FW update ever? :-(
  • Nope. I have a MeFOTO, but the globetrotter, which is larger and heavier than this. That would be my main tripod when I can reach by car to where I go. This tiny beauty is a 3 Legged Thing Punks ...

I switched from DSLR mainly because of size and weight. Having one DSLR (Canon 60D) with a Sigma 17-70, a 50mm 1.8, a Sigma 8-16mm and a Tokina 90-400mm was simply too much to carry around every ...
  • Love the brown model. Really nice color, and sucks dirt and stains ;) It has a zipper which opens up enough to bring the camera out without undoing the buckles, and totally silent. You can see the ...
  • Of all the options mentioned, no one have considered that storing gear in a camera bag, in humid environment, is a very bad idea. I lost 3 lenses, and got fungus on my 45-200, thanks to that. I ...
  • Pewter, in DPreview own words, ;-)
  • Replied in Old model Tenba
I have a DNA 8, which will not fit anything larger than an iPad mini on the inner pocket, but decided not to purchase the DNA 15 due to the DNA have, in my opinion, a design flaw with the buckles. ...
  • Replied in Very very nice
For a moment, I traveled there. The images gave me the I-am-there kind of feeling that a great travel image should do. Great work. You should open a gallery in Flickr or 500px and showcase them there.

Wow, you have great photos there. You really are talented. And what I can see is that you really like shallow depth of field, so definitively a fast prime will help you. In fact, I'd consider a ...
  • Replied in New Lens Help
Buying a new lens advise must be accompanied with what do you shoot most, otherwise we would be advising you blindfolded. Do you like landscape? Portrait? Street photography? Product? Industrial? ...
  • Far from it. I'm not questioning the feasibility, usability or technical excellence of such a lens, I'm questioning the business decision of releasing a pro level f:1.8 fisheye, which will appeal ...
