  • One thing I value a lot is package size. I can put my Panny 20mm on my G5, and go out, with it in a belly bag, and i can hardly notice it. If I want it a bit smaller, I simply take my G3 instead, ...
  • Replied in Oly E-M10 AWB
Out of the top of my head, and being a non Oly user, but by any chance are you using a creative mode that locks the WB to Auto? Can you change it if you select M or Tv, Av or P modes?
  • Is worth mentioning that, since there are not too many 4K devices out there, I heard some are taking 4k footage to do post processing stabilization. Can't say how effective it is, though.
  • Panasonic is the only m43 manufacturer who makes stabilized lenses (for the time being. I hope others help out soon), and the only two options are the very expensive, but very good Leica/Panasonic ...
  • I forgot to tell you guys, that the scare was double, because we took off, and after 2 minutes, the pilot said he was going to land again, because the generator wasn't working. And it could shut ...
  • Hahaha, yeah. :-D I'm a simmer, so I know very well what flare is. And no, thanks God there was no flare not even for landing, or we could have rubbed the rotor to the ground :-O What I meant was ...
  • Can you believe I didn't took any? I think I was so scared, that I forgot completely. And upon landing, once I came out of it, I walked to the car that was waiting for me, and it took right off to ...
  • Well, if you see on the second image, they removed the doors. That was the scary part. For someone that never flew in a chopper before, I mean.
  • It was scary at first, but fun. There was a lot of flare, and I believe both the camera and lenses tried its best to overcome the harsh light. I only used the Panny 20mm at Shutter Priority 1/800 ...
  • And it fits perfectly on my F-5XB on vertical position. I carry my G5 with 20mm on the center, grip side up so I can reach for it and have it ready to shoot, on the side, the 14mm + Micro Nikkor ...

I'm very happy with my Vanguard Alta 203 tripod: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/828715-REG/Vanguard_ALTA_203AP_Alta_203AP_3_Section_Aluminum.html I got it for around 60$. Later on I got a ...
  • I found a set of nice free presets on the web, done by Albert de Bruijn: http://albertdebruijn.com/home/free-lightroom-presets/film-types At the end, is my version of Fuji Velvia 50, which BTW I ...
  • You seem to be short on primes, and as many will say, money is better invested in good glass, rather than camera bodies. Cameras come and go, but lenses prevail. So, my advise would be to build ...
  • Ugly light, yeah I know. Sadly, you can't stay up here for too long, neither too early nor too late, so is midday light or nothing. I did what I could in LR to add some contrast and saturation, ...
  • I agree with others regarding the blown up highlights, although, if you have the RAW image of this shot, you might be able to recover some detail there, and tone down the extreme brightness.
  • And having a Nikon FE for a good part of my photography life, is sad to see Nikon resorting to costume dressing and crippling by disabling video a D600 just to gain a few more adepts, or get old ...
  • Looks like is more an attempt to test the market than anything else. A proper lens design for MFT, with proper reduced size and weight, would surely be more interesting or desirable, but simply a ...
  • Looks promising, but for a medium tele, the lack of AF might narrow down its usability. While slower, and not as long, the Sigma 60mm seems like a better option, with the added benefits of ...
  • Replied in Huntington, WV
Is an interesting process, although maybe the reverse vignette is a bit too harsh. A more subtle effect might have sufficed to achieve the ethereal look. On the cropping, I agree the half bench is ...
  • When this kind of comments arise, I remember a youtubber I've been recently following (DigitalRev TV). Is kind of an arrogant kind of guy at first, but it grows on you once you watch some of the ...
