cs hauser: "Question & Answer" seems like a rudimentary version of the feature dpreview really needs: POLLS. These forums can be downright toxic sometimes, thanks to a loud minority that dominate most discussions.. When assessing the community's opinion, I think a simple poll would go a long way in keeping the loud minority from overwhelming the silent majority.

I also think "Question & Answer" feature can make things even more confusing. Especially when it comes to controversial questions. For instance, any question regarding 'equivalence' will inevitably result in the community's answer switching back & forth. Again, in this situation a poll would provide a clearer representation of what the community really feels.

I agree. Polls are something I'd really like to see. Perhaps this is possible by voting on posts. Top-level posts could be voted on, or replied to if you wanted to comment. Manufacturers might even be interested to see the results of some of the polls.

ET2: In the intro page's comparison, you list , "Continuous shooting rate (no AF)" That's not true. A77/A65/A57 all do continuous AF in 12//10/12 fps mode.

The finder is 1.44M dots on the Japanese Sony website spec sheet.

Why do you say "SLT adapter support: No" for the NEX-5? On the Sony Japan webpage for the LA-EA2 adapter it states: "LA-EA2
NEX-5・NEX-5N・NEX-3・NEX-C3用" (用 means "use").

• Flexible Spot

Is this true? Or is the spot fixed to the center of the frame for spot metering?

John Romas: Why Sony removed the infrared remote sensor from the Nex-N5 which the Nex-5 has? That's just mean! :( And why there is no mention in the article about this (apart from the specs) ?

Don't worry, they haven't. You can see it clearly in the image above, and also in the specs here:
